Vail Resorts bumps up minimum wage: Starting September 26, Vail Resorts is increasing its minimum wage for entry-level positions to US$10 an hour in the eight states in which it operates.
Motel 6 reports increased conversion: Motel 6 reported an increase in conversion rates by 19% for desktop and 21% for mobile bookings during Q4 2014. The increase comes after Motel 6 launched a new website designed to adapt to any screen size in October 2014.
TWC acquires German hotel: Trans World Corp. acquired Hotel Freizeit Auefeld in Germany. The total project cost for the acquisition will be approximately US$6.1 million, including the cost to update and partially renovate the hotel.
