Hot Openings: Hilton unveils Black Sea resort

The look of now can’t be summed up in one Twitter-size bite. There’s a local accent on everything. However, there are some trends that crop up across the globe, and easy, contemporary chic is one of them. For the 246-key Hilton Batumi, Georgia (the company’s first property in the Black Sea resort city), that was the jumping-off point for design that offers a resort-ready spin on modern cool.

Strong lines and wood tones keep the look current. Deep accent hues bring a spice to the mostly neutral tones in the suites. Patterned carpeting adds another layer of interest.

“Batumi is not only one of the most beautiful cities in Georgia but continues to be recognized as a distinguished tourist center on the Black Sea,” said Rob Palleschi, global head, full-service brands, Hilton Worldwide. “Hilton is a growing presence across Eastern Europe, and the opening of Hilton Batumi, with its magnificent design and stunning views over the Black Sea, marks an exciting addition to the Hilton portfolio.”
