China’s Wanda Group has announced additional details about its project in Beverly Hills, California, on the site of the former Robinsons-May property on Wilshire Boulevard which it purchased last August.
Wanda said the property — One Beverly Hills — will include a 134-room Wanda-branded luxury boutique hotel in the South Building on Santa Monica Boulevard, 193 residences and new public gardens and open space. The Athens Group is Wanda’s development partner on the project, which is being designed by Richard Meier & Partners Architects.
One Beverly Hills will feature public gardens, open space and green space designed by landscape architecture firm Olin. The entire project, which is expected to debut in early to mid-2019, will be certified LEED Silver.
