Situated in Charlotte, North Carolina’s Uptown neighborhood, the new Le Méridien hotel provides guests with a mix of old school culture and modern flair. Previously the Charlotte Center City Hotel, the updated façade is only the first of many transformations of the longstanding building.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted at the Le Méridien Hub, a re-imagined version of the traditional hotel lobby. Large-scale artwork, carefully selected sound and lighting, and handcrafted cocktails make the arrival experience especially memorable. The Hub also features the signature “master barista,” a role designed to meet the growing demands of coffee-loving travelers.
Le Méridien Charlotte features 300 guestrooms with 18 suites designed using contemporary and mid-century inspired furnishings. The hotel also has expansive event space as part of the dual-branded complex, including the 305-room Sheraton Charlotte Hotels.
On-site food and beverage options include Evoke Restaurant, a chic and new-age steakhouse, as well as Longitude 80 Bar, named for the longitude of Charlotte.
“Charlotte shares in our passions for culture, the arts and cuisine, and we look forward to helping creative and curious minded travelers unlock the destination through our locally-inspired programming and culinary offerings,” said Brian Povinelli, global brand leader for Le Méridien and Westin.
