Hot Openings: New hotel towers above the rest

At 82 meters (269 feet) tall, the new Best Western Premier Solo Baru is now the tallest hotel in Solo, Central Java. Due to its size, it is on its way to become the city’s hub for meetings and events.

According to Ron Pohl, Best Western’s senior vice president of brand management, the new hotel is not just an average Best Western. With upscale amenities such as the Sky Fitness Center and an infinity-edged swimming pool, the hotel sets the Best Western Premier brand apart from former perceptions.

“Our upscale Best Western Premier brand is becoming famous around the world for providing exceptional hotels with world-class facilities, and Best Western Premier Solo Baru is another outstanding addition to this collection,” Pohl said.

The hotel features an infinity-edged swimming pool.

Food and beverage options include Chrystal Sapphire Coffee serving both Indonesian and international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Pool Café offering cocktails and the top-floor Sky Lounge for evening entertainment and drinks.

“I am confident that the hotel will thrill guests with its outstanding array of facilities, and will help to re-shape how people think about Best Western hotels,” said Olivier Berrivin, managing director of international operations for Best Western.

Best Western Premier Solo Baru is Best Western International’s 14th hotel in Indonesia and its first in Solo.
