Wyndham announces earnings: Wyndham Worldwide reported revenues for Q2 2015 of US$334 million for Wyndham Hotel Group, an 18% increase over Q2 2014. Total system-wide RevPAR for Q2 2015 was flat when compared to Q2 2014.

Sonesta adds nine hotels: Sonesta International Hotels Corp. added nine new extended-stay hotels to its Sonesta ES Suites brand. Locations include Tucson, Arizona; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota; Omaha, Nebraska; Princeton/Monmouth Junction, New Jersey; Somers Point, New Jersey; Cincinnati, Ohio; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Burlington, Vermont.

AccorHotels added to Instant Booking: Google has added AccorHotels’ 21 brands to Instant Booking. Customers can now book stays at the hotels without having to navigate to AccorHotels’ websites.

Dusit signs in Dabieshan: Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts signed a management agreement with Huoshan County Huachen Tourism Real Estate Development Co. to manage a resort in Dabieshan, Anhui Province. The 300-room DusitD2 Hot Springs Resort Dabieshan, Anhui, is scheduled to open in 2018 and will be the first internationally branded resort in Dabieshan.

Andel’s Berlin acquired: Union Investment Real Estate acquired Andel’s Berlin for approximately €105 million (US$116 milion). The seller was a property company belonging to Warimpex Finanz- und Beteiligungs AG and UBM Development AG.

TWA Flight Center Hotel proposed: New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced plans for MCR Development’s proposed TWA Flight Center Hotel at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Pending approvals, construction would begin in 2016 and would open in 2018. The budget is approximately US$250 million.

Secret Escapes closes investment: Secret Escapes has closed a US$60 million Series C Investment. The round was led by Google Ventures and Octupus Investments, with participation from existing investors Index Ventures and Atlas Venture, and advised by Torch Partners.

Emerson By the Sea acquired: Migis Hotel Group acquired Emerson Inn by the Sea in Rockport, Massachusetts. The 36-room hotel will undergo an extensive upgrade, including a refresh of its guestrooms, restaurants and public spaces.
