Starting in September, Sofitel Luxury Hotels will launch “Revealed” in China, a photography exhibition curated by Pablo Picasso’s grandson, Olivier Widmaier Picasso. Picasso hand-selected 30 photographs from the archives of Paris Match, a French weekly magazine.
Photographs to be displayed include Pablo Picasso eyeing a Dalmatian longing to climb onto his lap, Salvador Dalí observing an animal exhibit at the Paris Zoo, Pierre Soulages crouching over a work in progress, and more.
The exhibition will be showcased at thee Sofitel hotels in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The China exhibitions are part of a worldwide tour that has already been to five cities in North America and five cities in Europe. “Revealed” will also take place in Bangkok, Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne later in 2015.
