Thailand’s Compass Hospitality acquires 3 UK properties

Thailand’s Compass Hospitality Group has acquired The Big Sleep Hotels’ portfolio comprising three hotels in Cardiff, Cheltenham and Eastbourne in the United Kingdom. The multi-million dollar acquisition was jointly made with Singapore-based Seacare Hospitality Pte Ltd. with funding provided by RBS.

The hotels will be managed by Compass Hospitality, which is already managing The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury and The White Swan Halifax in the UK as part of a portfolio comprising 49 properties located in Thailand, Malaysia and the UK.

“We are very pleased with the portfolio acquisition of these three well located and profitable hotels. We will continue to seek out acquisitions and opportunities to grow our presence in the UK,” said Compass Hospitality President and CEO Harmil Singh.
