Hong Kong hotel offers taste of Silk Road

The Langham, Hong Kong, has partnered with the Shanghai Tang Silk Road fragrance collection to create a unique cocktail and mocktail experience at its bar, The Artesian.

The hotel’s head mixologist, Rajendra Limbum, created two custom drinks inspired by Shanghai Tang’s Rose Silk and Spring Jasmine fragrances. The Rose Silk cocktail consists of rose champagne, elderflower liqueur, rose jam infusion, and is garnished with a rose petal, candied silver pearls and a spray of rose water. The Spring Jasmine mocktail is made with jasmine tea, lemon juice, jasmine syrup, and is mixed with mint, dry lemon and lemongrass. Guests who purchase drinks from the collection can also receive a complimentary mini fragrance from Silk Road.
