The iconic Boston Park Plaza has completed the first two phases of a US$100 million renovation. Since taking over ownership, Sunstone Hotel Investors, has performed a series of renovations to repair and restore all structural elements of the hotel.
The three-phase redesign aims to solidify the property as a convenient, modern and amenity-filled hotel for tourists, travelers and even locals. Completed renovations include the replacement of the hotel’s roof, exterior facade and surrounding sidewalk, a complete overhaul of all entrances, lobby, meeting spaces and mezzanines, and the addition of a new restaurant and lounge.
Scheduled to begin on November 1 and slated for completion in June 2016, phase three of Boston Park Plaza’s multifaceted renovation includes a renovation of all guestrooms, suites, bathrooms and corridors, and will include the replacement of all furniture, fixtures and equipment.
