This month, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts will debut its new serviced apartment brand, Cassia, in Phuket, Thailand. Cassia Phuket operates as a hotel with units available for investment, offering 221 one- and two-bedroom residences — each with a separate living room and fully-equipped kitchen, and some with a loft hang-out — along with colorful street art, customized dining options and views of the lagoon, ocean and parks.
It will open with 221 one- and two-bedroom apartments, expanding to 326 with a second tower added by 2017. Facilities include Cassia’s private beach (on Bang Tao), Chill Chill Spa, Play Play (kids’ play area), infinity swimming pool, Market 23 and Street Bar. A fitness center and meeting space will open in 2017.
In addition to its residences, Cassia Phuket features a mini-convenience mart, home-delivery service and a touch-screen concierge. Complimentary Wi-Fi and tour packages are also available to guests.
On-site food and beverage options are designed to be casual and include Market 23 Café, serving coffee, juices and other grab-and-go options, and Street Bar, offering cocktails as well as an in-house DJ.
