Atlanta-based Hotel Equities announced the formation of the Full Service & Resorts Division. Currently the new division covers about 10% of Hotel Equities’ 100-hotel portfolio and the firm expects the to double its size over the next 12 to 16 months.
Hotel Equities named Dominic Buompastore vice president of operations of Full Service & Resorts. In the newly formed position, Buompastore will oversee all of the divisions operations, including renovation, design, and food and beverage.
“Hotel Equities chose Dominic to develop our full service and resort division because he is a passionate leader with a long history and outstanding record of driving revenue and profits, strong food and beverage acumen, guest service and associate engagement,” said Brad Rahinsky, president and chief operating officer at Hotel Equities.
Buompastore joined Hotel Equities from the Hyatt Regency Birmingham in England, formerly The Wynfrey Hotel, where he was general manager after a US$14 million renovation and rebranding.
