Dalata Hotel Group has entered into an agreement to buy the freehold interest in the Clarion Hotel Cork in Ireland for €35.1 million (US$39.95 million). The hotel will continue to be operated by Choice Hotels Ireland under the Clarion brand.
“The Clarion is a superb quality Hotel finished to a very high specification and one of the finest, if not the finest hotel in Cork City,” said Pat McCann, CEO of Dalata. “The asset generates a high quality and secure rental income stream, underpinned by a highly profitable hotel operation.”
The Clarion Hotel Cork features 191 guestrooms, a bar, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a spa, and conference and meeting facilities.
