Noble House discovers payment card incident: Through an investigation with the FBI and a computer security firm, Noble House learned that malware may have been installed on payment processing systems and potentially affected cards swiped at six of its properties. The information potentially compromised by the malware involves data found in the magnetic stripe on payment cards, which includes the cardholder name, card number, expiration date and CVV number.

Shangri-La to debut in Saudi Arabia: Shangri-La International Hotel Management Limited and Assila Investments signed a contract for the management and operation of a 236-room hotel and serviced residences development in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Slated to open in early 2018 Shangri-La Hotel, Jeddah, will be the first Shangri-La in Saudi Arabia.

Red Lion signs near Disney World: Red Lion Hotels Corp. will open a 516-room Red Lion Hotel in Kissimmee, Florida, located near Walt Disney World Resort. The Red Lion Hotel Orlando – Kissimmee is expected to open in December.

Lotte loses duty-free store: Lotte Duty Free says it plans to proceed with its IPO despite losing its Lotte World Tower in Seoul duty-free store. Doosan Corp. won the license for the duty-free outlet currently held by Hotel Lotte Co.
