Hot Openings: Short-stay apartment experience in NYC

Furnished Quarters in November opened Q&A Residential Hotel in New York City’s Financial District at the former AIG world headquarters. Designed by Furnished Quarters’ in-house design team led by Steve Saide, in collaboration with Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, the hotel aims to be a solution for business and leisure travelers seeking a home-away-from-home experience.

Q&A Residential Hotel includes 132 apartment-sized suites featuring full-sized kitchens, bespoke furniture, smart TVs and king-sized beds. Suites are available for up to 30 days and range in size from 500 square feet (152.4 square meters) to 1,400 square feet (426.72 square meters).

Other amenities include a La Palestra fitness and wellness, an artisanal Australian coffee shop called Black Fox Coffee, and a 13,000 square feet (3962.4 square meter) urban market serving gourmet prepared foods. Restaurateur Ken Friedman and Michelin-starred Chef April Bloomfield are also confirmed to open and operate a four-level dining and drinking complex atop the building.
