The Muse, a Kimpton Hotel, in New York City’s Theater District recently completed an extensive top-to-bottom renovation that caters to the “modern road warrior” and business traveler.

Corridors from the lobby and guest floors to the meeting rooms have been updated with new deep gray and navy carpeting. The hotel’s customizable meeting rooms were appointed with new furnishings, including waterfall chandeliers and black and white photographs New York City’s architecture and skyline views. Technology updates include 65-inch flat screen TVs enhanced with Apple TV and Google Chromecast streaming devices.

Lobby enhancements feature new chaise style seating, a new glass chandelier and a handmade metallic vessel designed to create the look of cascading light. Adjacent to the living room style lobby, Nios Restaurant, under the direction of Executive Chef Jarett Brodie, now offers communal dining tables.

Designed by Intra-Spec Hospitality Design, the new guestroom décor includes black and white fabrics and carpeting with silvery blue wall coverings. Guestrooms also have dual window shades, dimmable lamps and pop-up reading lights installed directly into the headboards, bedside nightstands with USB ports and a Jawbone Jambox Bluetooth speaker. Ensuite bathroom enhancements include Carrera marble and glass enclosed walk-in showers with large overhead rainwater and handheld showerheads, chair-sized corner benches and inset wall niches.
