Hot Openings: London gets second InterContinental

IHG this week opened the InterContinental London – The O2 on the historic Greenwich Peninsula. The hotel will operate under a franchise agreement with Meridian Hotel Operations Limited and will be managed by a division of the Arora Group. The property is InterContinental’s second hotel in London and 30th in Europe.

InterContinental London – The O2 features 453 guestrooms, including 59 suites, many of which have views of the city’s skyline. The hotel also offers five destination-inspired food and beverage outlets, a spa and a 3,100-square-meter (10,170.6-square-foot) conference center with 19 meeting rooms, an organizer’s office and 1,600-square-meter (5,249.34-square-foot) pre-function space with views of Canary Wharf.
