Airbnb admits deleting NYC data: Business Insider is reporting that home-rental website Airbnb admitted to scrubbing about 1,500 commercial listings from data it released in December about the New York City market. The company said it was not done to deceive the public.

SLH adds YTL hotels: Small Luxury Hotels of the World expanded its partnership with Malaysia’s YTL Hotels with MUSE St. Tropez in France and the Kasara Niseko Village Townhouse in Japan. YTL owns and operates six other SLH hotels in Asia.

 


Website refresh at Ritz-Carlton: Ritz-Carlton unveiled a new website that integrates user-generated content in its design. It also allows users to explore “travel experiences” and to reserve a room based on the view, which they can preview on the site.

Pacifica acquires resort: Pacifica Hotels, which operates independent hotels along the U.S. West Coast, acquired the 60-room San Simeon Pines Seaside Resort in Cambria, California. The seller and selling price were not disclosed.

 


Thunder Valley expands: Thunder Valley Casino Resort announced plans to add 111 luxury rooms and suites to its hotel. The construction at the 17-story hotel in Lincoln, California, is expected to be complete next year.

 


Ibibo gets infusion: Indian online travel company Ibibo Group raised $250 million in new funding from its majority stakeholder, Naspers Group.
