Hot Openings: ‘6-star’ luxury comes to Silicon Valley

The Clement Palo Alto opened last month, offering 23 richly appointed suites in an “all-exclusive,” “6-star” luxury setting. Designed by Stanford Hughes of Brayton Hughes Design Studio, the décor is meant to be contemporary, elegant and comfortable.

Instead of the typical lobby and registration desk of most hotels, guests at The Clement Palo Alto will be greeted by their own personal concierge. The personal concierge will have an iPad with all the pertinent information about the guests, including their wants and needs, and take them directly to their rooms.

The Kitchen, the hotel’s open kitchen, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can also dine in The Dining Room, the outdoor Dining Terrace, the Living Room, the privacy of their guest suite, or in a private cabana on the private rooftop pool deck overlooking Stanford University. Guests also have access to the beautifully appointed communal guest kitchen, designed to be similar to a high-end residential kitchen, with access to a fully stocked guest pantry that is available around the clock.

Each guest suite includes smart televisions, stone-lined bathrooms and remote-controlled draperies.
