Originally a 1860s historic mansion in New Orleans, the Henry Howard Hotel was recently restored and updated as an 18-bedroom boutique hotel. Designed by Lauren Mabry of Hunter Mabry Design, the hotel seeks to honor 19-century historic elements while also being a modern and inviting space.
Each guestroom features a mix of vintage and custom-designed furniture, second line instruments, and commissioned local artwork. The penthouse suite doubles as a hospitality suite with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large entertaining/getting ready area.
With its sprawling common areas, the Henry Howard Hotel is an ideal location to host special events and parties. The hotel’s parlor serves seated dinners and cocktails and includes a bar, floor to ceiling windows, crown molding and red pine flooring. The backyard courtyard is intended to be an event space for smaller parties.
