Iconic NYC hotel partners with Repeat Roses

The InterContinental New York Barclay and Repeat Roses have partnered to remove, recycle and compost flowers from weddings and other events taking place at the hotel. Donated flowers will be repurposed and delivered to New Yorkers in need in nursing homes, hospitals, hospice care and pediatric cancer treatment facilities.

Repeat Roses is an eco-friendly business that collects and rearranges unused flowers to deliver to local organizations to ensure a zero-waste, sustainable service experience. The company also strives to help divert significant waste from landfills.

“Our aim is to align ourselves with organizations we believe are making a difference for People and Planet, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with a thoughtful and original organization such as Repeat Roses,” said Hervé Houdré, general manager at InterContinental New York Barclay. “There is so much waste in this world, that it is only natural to re-purpose and recycle what we use. Repeat Roses takes what would otherwise be wasted to enliven the lives of those who suffer and need empathy, love and support.”
