Hot Openings: Sneak peek at Nobu Miami Beach

With a soft opening scheduled for this fall, Nobu Hotel Miami Beach’s visionaries include renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Academy Award winner Robert De Niro, Hollywood producer Meir Teper and Australian business tycoon James Packer. Designed by architect David Rockwell, the property aims to deliver a “fun-luxury experience, while paying homage to Eden Roc’s heritage.

The hotel’s 206 guestrooms and suites set within the Eden Roc Miami Beach’s landmark Morris Lapidus tower. All accommodations offer ocean and Intracoastal views with designs that draw upon Japanese architecture and the hotel’s oceanfront location to evoke a contemporary Japanese beach house. Thirty-five luxury suites aim to offer “peace and relaxation” with sleek furnishings and teak accents.

The hotel’s restaurant, Nobu Miami, services Japanese cuisine in its soaring dining room. Guests can also order from a 24-hour in-room dining menu designed specifically for the property.

Guests will soon have access to a private Nobu pool, offering ocean and beach views as well as poolside service and menus. Additionally, Nobu Hotel Miami Beach will feature the first East Coast outpost of Chef Helene Henderson’s Malibu Farm. With a food philosophy of “fresh, organic, local,” Malibu Farm will source produce form area farms and markets.
