StayWell expands in the U.K.: StayWell Hospitality Group entered a partnership with Fiveways Hospitality. The newly formed master licensing agreement will enable StayWell to “significantly grow” its Park Regis and Leisure Inn brands in the U.K.

 


Meliá’s ‘service culture’: Meliá Hotels International announced it is investing in its “service culture” across its six brands, in an effort to “deliver a truly unique and differentiated experience.” Starting this month, in partnership with Bond Brand Loyalty, guests are invited to participate in sessions in London and Miami to help design the culture.

Millennium & Copthorne grows in Dubai: Three Dubai-based Deyaar properties will be managed by Millennium & Copthorne. The hotels comprise 953 units in total and include: the Islamic hotel in Al Barsha, the Atria in Business Bay and Montrose in Dubai Science Park.

Max Brown to open in Germany: Max Brown Hotels will open two hotels in Germany: Max Brown Midtown in Düsseldorf and Max Brown Ku’Damm in Berlin. Max Brown Midtown opened today, while Max Brown Ku’Damm will open later this year. Max Brown was founded in Amsterdam in 2014.

 


HP Hotels to manage in Nashville: HP Hotels signed a management contract for the former Nashville Airport Holiday Inn in Tennessee. The hotel will undergo a complete renovation and be converted into a full-service Nashville Airport Hilton Hotel by fall 2017.

Joint venture to develop three Florida hotels: The Prisa Group and Peachtree Hotel Group have signed a joint venture to build a dual-brand SpringHill Suites by Orlando Marriott Orlando/Mall at Millenia and Residence Inn by Marriot Orlando/ Mall at Millenia as well as a Marriott Tampa/Airport – Westshore. The properties currently are under construction with a planned opening date of December 2017. The three hotels will be managed by Marriott Corp.
