What’s Hot: Ciel Bleu reopens in Amsterdam

Designed by architect Bert Verway, Ciel Bleu Restaurant at Hotel Okura Amsterdam recently reopened following a complete redesign. The new concept aims to provide global appeal and was designed to provide harmony between the interior and exterior spaces.

The renovated Ciel Bleu features a palette of understated colors, with an ice-blue ceiling sky. The lounge area was extended behind an area of birch trees to play a more prominent role in the space. Crescent-shaped seating aims to provide a more intimate dining experience while providing views of Amsterdam. The attached salon that was previously only available for private dining, is also now open to all guests to accommodate more seating.

Ciel Bleu also underwent a culinary concept transformation. The menu features smaller courses designed to follow one another at a quicker pace in order to feature more courses in a shorter amount of time. The restaurant’s team is also developing more non-alcoholic beverages.
