Hotel Tonight launches loyalty program: Hotel Tonight, the website offering last-minute hotel deals, has launched a loyalty program to reward its users, who forego hotel company points by booking through a third party platform. HT Perks divides users into levels based on spending, not points, offering discounts and other offers.

Indonesia launches hotel group: The Indonesian government on Wednesday launched Hotel Indonesia Group, a network of hotels controlled by state-owned companies. It’s the first step in a move to consolidate all government-owned hotels into a holding company.

Extended Stay shares: Extended Stay priced a secondary offering of stock for Blackstone Group, Centerbridge Partners and Paulson Investment  to sell 13 million shares at $14.25 per share, Baird analyst David Loeb reported. That’s less than the $17.25 per share price that the three last sold stock in November 2015.

 


Eurostars’ third in Prague: Eurostars Hotel Company, the hotel division of Grupo Hotusa, added the exe City Park 3* as its third hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. The 80-room hotel was formerly the Hotel Vienna House Easy Chopin, off Wenceslas Square.

 


Bon in East Africa: Hotel owner and manager Bon Hotels added a second property in East Africa, the 33-room Lake Heights Hotel in Uganda. It will be rebranded as the Lake Heights Entebbe on Oct. 1. The Cape Town, South Africa-based company says it is Entebbe’s first boutique-style hotel.

 


Dalata acquires Double Tree: Dalata Hotel Group of Ireland acquired the operating interest of the the 502-room Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, formerly the Burlington, in Dublin. Deka Immobilien purchased the freehold interest of the property from Sussex Road Nominee Limited. Dalata will have a 25-year operating lease with Deka as new owners of the property. The acquisition is expected to complete in November.
