What’s Hot: DoubleTree Wroclaw’s ‘futuristic conversion’

Envisioned by Paris- and Israel-based Gsarch-Gottesman Szmelcman architecture firm, the DoubleTree by Hilton Wroclaw in Poland was designed to be a “sculpture within the city formed by the city.” Housed in the OVO Wroclaw, the white, rounded exterior blends with the curved lines of the building in a minimalistic style.

The hotel’s 189 guestrooms and suites were designed with softer finishes and a lighter color palette to provide its guests with relaxation. Headboards bring in local elements by depicting elements of the city. All guest bathrooms also feature under floor heating.

The atmospheric Ovo bar and restaurant offers a live cooking station and a dynamic dining space with dishes built for sharing and an a la carte menu. Later in the evening, a DJ takes to the decks. Ovo also offers a courtyard that is open to Wroclaw’s local residents.
