Thompson Hotels in October opened Thompson Nashville in Tennessee, marking the brand’s first property in the greater American South and the first new-build, lifestyle hotel in Nashville. MarketStreet Enterprises, AJ Capital Partners and The Berger Co. collaborated to develop the hotel.
Designed by Parts and Labor Design, the hotel celebrates Nashville’s creative spirit while also embracing a modern experience that aims to be both nostalgic and fashion-forward. Upon entering the hotel, guests are greeted by an inlay of a wooden compass rose made from locally salvaged materials that includes a brass detailing of the hotel’s global coordinates. The lobby is filled with custom-designed light fixtures and furniture to create a vintage charm.
The hotel’s guestrooms and suites are meant to provide a residential feel. All rooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows and warm, wooden floors, wallpaper, and as well as custom-designed rugs. Suites feature wet bars and central hearths. Bathrooms feature graphic floor tile, milky toned white tile walls and a hand-selected sculpture.
The hotel offers three dining options: Marsh House, serving seafood; Killebrew, serving pastries; and LA Jackson, serving shareable small plates, Southern beer and cocktails. In-room dining is also available along with extensive in-room mini bars.
Additional amenities include meeting and event space, an outdoor terrace and a fitness center.
