GuestCentric acquires Great Hotels of the World division

GuestCentric, a provider of cloud-based digital marketing software for hotels, on Wednesday announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with UK-based Big Worldwide Limited to acquire the corporate business division of Great Hotels of the World, a global representation organization for independent hotels and resorts, its associated GDS code, and its Evolution central reservations system deployed by numerous hotels in 42 countries and with a significant presence in EMEA.

Great Hotels of the World’s broad representation capabilities will allow GuestCentric to provide GDS services on top of its digital marketing platform, providing a turnkey solution for all digital revenue streams to hotels.
