Hilton named Katie Beirne Fallon senior vice president and global head of corporate affairs. She previously served as a senior adviser at the White House and a top aide in the U.S. Senate.

Windjammer Landing Villa Beach in Saint Lucia has appointed Scott Seger as the resort’s new managing director. Prior, Seger served on the resort’s executive board as well the resort’s director of food and beverage.

The Ritz-Carlton New York, Westchester has named William Yahr as the new hotel General Manager. Yahr was previously hotel manager at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami.

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain has promoted Kevin Delonay to director of food & beverage. He most recently served as the executive chef at Maya, the resort’s modern Mexican kitchen by Chef Richard Sandoval.

Benchmark has named Benjamin Caban area director of sales & marketing for Beachwalk Resort, Hallandale Beach, Florida, and for Marenas Beach Resort, a Gemstone Collection property in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. He was previously director of sales & marketing for the Beachwalk Resort.

Matthew Sparks has been appointed executive vice president and chief investment officer of Hilton Worldwide Holdings’ Park Hotels & Resorts, the REIT that will be separated from Hilton at year-end. Most recently Sparks was Hilton’s senior vice president, luxury and corporate development.

CopperWynd Resort & Club, Fountain Hills, Arizona, has named Jeremy Dougherty general manager. Dougherty comes from Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa where he was general manager.

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced David Oliver as vice president of development for Canada. He was most recently senior vice president of asset management and capital planning for Dundee 360 Real Estate Corp., which has a portfolio of 5,000-plus luxury rooms of Fairmont and Hilton hotel assets across North America.

Grace International has appointed Salvador Abaunza as general manager of The Scarlet Huntington, San Francisco. Previously, Abaunza was the GM of L’Ermitage in Beverly Hills, California.

Caravelle Saigon has named Morgan Ulaganathan as its new director of rooms. He was previously in a management role at the Sofitel Sydney.

Hyatt Regency Austin (Texas) has hired Dan Voluz as its new sous chef. Chef Voluz joins the hotel from Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa where he served as sous chef.

Le Bristol Hotel Beirut has appointed Franck Royer as general manager of its newly renovated property. He is a veteran with over 20 years of hotel experience in the UK, France, West Indies, Canada, Oman, Lebanon, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar and China.

Pendry San Diego has named Paul Piscopo as hotel executive chef. Prior, Piscopo was executive chef at the Mina Group’s Pabu and The Ramen Bar, both in San Francisco.

Benchmark has named Patricia Berry general manager for the Ames Boston Hotel.  She most recently served as general manager of the Battery Wharf Hotel of Boston.

Oetker Collection has appointed Marce Olson as associate head of sales for the U.S. West Coast and Canadian markets. Marce has worked at a number of luxury hotel brands such as Four Seasons and Le Méridien.

Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Florida has named Kurt Steinberg as executive chef. He most recently served as executive chef at the Hyatt Regency Newport in Rhode Island.

SBE has hired Jack Myers as executive vice president human resources. Prior, he held a number of senior leadership positions across human resources at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

Hotel Indigo Tuscaloosa Downtown in Alabama has named A.J. Clements as director of food & beverage. He most recently served as the general manager of the local restaurant, Five.

Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach in Florida has appointed David Yamada as general manager of the resort slated to open in January 2017. Previously, Yamada held positions for a variety of properties, including Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa; Wyndham Kingston Hotel; Westin St. John Resort & Villas; and Bay Point Marriott Resort.

Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace in Florida has appointed Sean Riebau as the director of food and beverage. Most recently, Riebau served as assistant director of food and beverage at Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has appointed Gregory Leinweber as general manager of Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC. He was most recently area director of sales and marketing for four of Kimpton’s downtown Washington hotels.

The Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel appointed Lindsay Chapon assistant general manager. Most recently, Chapon was assistant general manager at Brickell Hotel Group’s flagship Hilton property in downtown Miami.

The executive committee of Central Romana Corp. has appointed Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg as president of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. Most recently, he was director of operations for the Mexican Caribbean market at Occidental Hotels/Barceló, and was part of the team that during the last year led the integration process between these international hotel chains.

Benchmark has named Matina Lapanaitis managing director for Mosaic Hotel and Maison 140, both located in Beverly Hills, California. Lapanaitis brings to her new position nearly 30 years of hospitality management experience gained in Australia and more recently, in the California markets of San Diego, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
