Six Senses Ninh Van Bay in Vietnam has renovated and upgraded its 35 pool villas that front a private 1-mile stretch of beach.

The interiors feature lighter-toned furnishings for a brighter, more modern feel.?The ground-floor bathrooms in all villas have been enclosed with floor-to-ceiling glass panels and fitted with air conditioning units, while open-air showers have been retained. Private swimming pools now feature slate tiles resembling the granite boulders for which the bay is most famous.

In line with Six Senses environmental responsibilities, solar hot water panels have been installed.?The first-floor living rooms include an L-shaped sofa that can convert to twin beds, and an egg-shaped swing. Villas have been upgraded with surround-sound systems and pod-based coffee machines. The private beachfront villas offer personal pools; guests also have direct access to the beach and its live coral reef.

The program has also seen the enhancement of the other 24 villas, which include Water, Rock and Hilltop Villa categories with bathrooms and vanity areas enclosed to give the choice of an open or air-conditioned environment.

The resort sits on a coral bay and includes a spa.
