New boutique brand launching in Australia

Australia’s Event Hospitality & Entertainment (EH&E) on Monday announced a new boutique hotel brand for modern business and leisure travel, Eventhouse Hotels. After extensive revitalization, Rydges Cronulla has transformed into Eventhouse Cronulla, marking the launch of the new brand.

EH&E will grow with Eventhouse Hobart, which is currently under development and expected to emerge in mid-2017, according to Group Managing Director David Seargeant.

Event Hospitality & Entertainment, with origins dating back to 1910, has a hotel portfolio that includes QT Hotels & Resorts, Rydges Hotels, Atura Hotels, Art Series Hotels, Eventhouse Hotels and Thredbo Alpine Village in Australia. It has 45 hotels and resorts across four brands in key destinations across Australia, New Zealand and London.

A beach-chic design by Shelley Indyk in collaboration with Anna Roberts, both known for their edgy design work on QT Hotels & Resorts, was created for the 84-room Eventhouse Cronulla.  Rooms and public areas are highlighted with natural light, glass and a sea-inspired palette.

The brand’s simple, fresh and modern boutique offering immerses guests in the unique flavor of each hotel’s community. Peppered with thoughtful perks where it really matters, hotels will include bespoke Dream Beds, complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee pod machines in each room and upscale bathroom amenities.
