Antigua-based Blue Waters Resort & Spa has completed major resort-wide renovations.
Following suit on previously completed updates to guestrooms and the fitness center, the latest work at the all-inclusive includes updates done on the resort’s Rock Cottage villa and restaurant, enhancements to the Blue Waters Kids Club, and introduction of a wellness and nutrition program.
The villa added a new infinity pool and covered space that can accommodate a six-seat lounge area and dining for 10, as well as new furniture and furbishing. That space comes equipped with up to five bedrooms, a separate living area, kitchen, private pools and numerous sun decks.
The revamped interior of Bartley’s Restaurant, one of Antigua’s only air-conditioned restaurants, now incorporates vibrant colors like turquoise, hot pinks, and bright yellows and greens set against a natural timber floor and white painted wooden paneling.
Coupled with the renovations, Blue Waters will debut the Living Retreat program in partnership with UK wellness brand Living Retreats. That program will transform the resort’s wellness amenities to bring guests a series of personalized, bespoke wellness programs, nutritional guidance, fitness sessions and more.
Additional resort upgrades, including an expansion of Carolyn’s Beach Bar into a casual lunch-time venue offering healthy and light cuisine, are additionally set to complete this season.
