Rosewood Sand Hill in Silicon Valley appointed three new members to the hotel’s culinary team: Reylon Agustin was promoted to executive chef, Michael Daley has joined as PM chef de cuisine and Mario Quiroz was appointed as director of food and beverage.

Expotel Hospitality named Jason Areng vice president of sales and revenue. Prior to joining Expotel, Areng worked for Q Hotel Management as the vice president of sales and marketing.

Silvia Baños was named director of sales at Rosewood Puebla, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ newest property in Mexico which is set to open later this spring.

The Adolphus appointed Jodi Doughty as the hotel’s director of sales and marketing. Most recently, she was vice president of sales and marketing for Remington Hotels’ independent luxury division.

Benchmark named El Hassan Erroudani director of operations for Villas of Grand Cypress, a Gemstone Collection resort located in Orlando, Florida. 

California-based Joie de Vivre hotel Monterey Tides appointed Mike Espiritu as food and beverage director.

Sebastian Gassen was named director of food and beverage at InterContinental Hong Kong from the Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, where he headed food and beverage operations for two years.

Wyndham Hotel Group appointed Barry Goldstein as chief marketing officer and Scott Strickland as chief information officer.

David Grosfils was recently appointed head of Hallmark Hotels. He joins the company from London-based hotel company GLH, where he was chief operating officer.

Lightstone appointed Lauren Levin as senior vice president of the Moxy Hotels Brand and Marketing and Gary Thomas as area managing director for Moxy New York.

Heather Morgan was named group sales manager at The Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. Previously, she served for four years as corporate sales manager at the Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County.

HP Hotels promoted Charles Oswald from president and COO to president and CEO. Oswald joined HP Hotels in 2012, and prior to that, he served as vice president of operations with Noble Investment Group.

Motif Seattle, a Destination hotel, named Rhocelli Pascual director of marketing. Most recently, she served as associate director of marketing for The Garland Hotel in North Hollywood, California.

Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile appointed Frank Sanchez as executive chef. Formerly the hotel’s executive sous chef, Sanchez will oversee culinary operations at the hotel and its F&B outlets, Harvest Restaurant and Rush Street Pantry, including management of the hotel’s rooftop garden and beehives.

Dorchester Collection promoted Helen Smith to chief customer experience officer. Smith, a graduate of Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, originally joined Dorchester as director of sales and marketing in 2004.

Marco Polo Hotels Hong Kong-based corporate office appointed Rosemary Tam as group director of human resources and Martin Kwan as group director of purchasing.
