Scott Becque is the new director of sales and marketing for the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. Most recently, Becque was director of sales and marketing for the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights in New Jersey.

Millennium Harvest House Boulder promoted Kate Bleakley to director of operations.

Hong Kong-based Rosewood Hotel Group named Michael Dojlidko senior vice president, general counsel and group head of legal.

Dream Hotel Group appointed Jeff Lee as director of food & beverage. Most recently, he worked for Hillstone Restaurant Group where he was executive chef for nearly fifteen years.

Sage Hospitality promoted Mustafa Menekse to area director of sales overseeing three independent downtown Denver hotels: The Crawford Hotel, The Oxford Hotel and the soon-to-open Maven Hotel.

Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza hired Walter F. Nemeth, CPCE, as director of catering. Nemeth Walter has over 20 years of catering sales and food management leadership. He has been the director of catering at the Georgian Terrace Hotel and the Grand Hyatt Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as the food & beverage director at the Doral Forresal Hotel and Conference Center in Princeton, New Jersey.

Georgia’s Barnsley Resort appointed Buddy Nichols director of sporting and recreation.

The Chanler at Cliff Walk in Newport, Rhode Island, appointed Lani Shufelt general manager and chief operating officer and seasoned marketing specialist Cherie’lin Toporowski as director of sales and marketing.

Shade Hotel Redondo Beach appointed Sandra Vivas, previously of the Pininfarina-designed luxury boutique Keating Hotel located in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, as general manager.

Halekulani Corporation, which owns and manages Waikiki hotels, Halekulani and Waikiki Parc Hotel, appointed Albert N. Yoza as the hotel’s financial controller.
