Oberoi Hotels & Resorts has opened the Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah in Ajman.
The hotel was master planned by Solidere International and a joint venture with the Government of Ajman. Set within 247 acres of ecological wetland, Al Zorah is inherently bio diverse and is home to almost sixty species of birds and marine life.
White sand beaches, lagoons and mangroves border the hotel, which was designed by Italian architect Piero Lissoni. The resort’s luxury accommodations include rooms, suites and villas with private terraces and swimming pools. Guests can choose between secluded accommodations for a more private experience or two and three bedroom villas for family holidays.
The hotel’s culinary options include Aquario, a sea grill by the beach which has an international menu and responsibly locally sourced seafood cooked using traditional, nutrient-conserving methods; the Poolside Lounge, with lighter, healthy options; and Vinesse, which serves international cuisine, fine wines and single malts.
Sensio Spa by Oberoi has private therapy suites and offers Eastern, Western and signature massage therapies, Turkish hammams and ayurvedic treatments. The resort also has a fully equipped, 24-hour gymnasium and a temperature controlled 80-metre long swimming pool. Guests are also able to golf at the nearby Nicklaus Design 18-hole golf course, rent sailboats from the fully equipped marina set to open soon.
The hotel also offers private meeting rooms and a 4600-square-foot banqueting space which can host up to 200 guests.
