Dream Hotel Group appointed Rohit Anand vice president of brand activation and partnerships. He joined Dream in 2010 as brand development specialist and most recently was global director of brand activation and partnerships.

The Set hired James Baker as director of sales and marketing, Americas. Most recently, Baker worked at Kempinski Hotels as global director of leisure sales.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants named Andrew Bradbury senior director of beverage and bar. He previously was general manager of Ave and Avecita at the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa in Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman.

The Waldorf Astoria Chicago and Conrad Chicago announced new roles for five senior sales managers: Rachel Clark will focus on sports bookings plus the West Coast and Western Canada. Sarah Graff will be responsible for booking the downtown Chicago market. Rachel Levy will focus on the Northeast U.S. and Eastern Canada. Katie Lorenc will be responsible for booking groups from the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Texas markets. Blythe Shaver will focus on booking the Chicago suburbs and Midwest market.

Onyx Hospitality Group named David Cumming regional vice president of operations for Bangkok, Malaysia and Laos, and Pierre-Andre Pelletier regional vice president of operations for South Thailand, Vietnam and the Maldives. Cumming previously was vice president and area general manager for Bangkok. Pelletier previously was vice president and area general manager for South Thailand.

The Dewberry Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, appointed Geoffroy Deconinck executive chef, managing culinary operations, overseeing Henrietta’s, events, banquets and in-room dining. Most recently, he was executive chef at Glenmere Mansion, Natalie’s at the Camden Harbour Inn and Windsor Country Club, and started a private catering business. 

MGM Resorts International announced that Debra DeShong joined as vice president of global industry affairs. She most recently was executive vice president and managing director of public affairs for Subject Matter, a strategic communications firm in Washington, D.C.

Karisma Hotels & Resorts appointed Juan Pablo Franky CEO in South America. He will spearhead expansion into Latin America along with operations and sales across South America, starting with the opening of a new office in Bogotá, Colombia. Previously, Franky spent 10 years with Decameron Hotels, overseeing a portfolio including Radisson Hotels, W Hotels & Resorts and Aloft Hotels. 

Greg Geddes was promoted to general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Nashua and The Event Center adjoining the hotel in New Hampshire. He most recently was interim general manager; previously he was assistant GM.

Fairmont Washington, D.C., appointed Mark Huntley general manager and regional vice president. His responsibilities will include the Fairmont Austin, Fairmont Pittsburgh, Pullman Miami and Sofitel Washington, D.C., Lafayette Square. Previously, he was regional vice president, Central USA, and general manager for Swissôtel Chicago.

Hotel Phillips Kansas City, Curio Collection by Hilton, appointed Mark Krtek general manager. Most recently, he was GM of the Hilton Kansas City Airport.

The Radisson Blu Minneapolis Downtown appointed Katie Jude director of human resources. Her background includes stints at several hotels and most recently as director of human resources at Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport Hotel.

McKibbon Hospitality named Ivey Johnson general manager of the Homewood Suites Birmingham-South/Inverness, where she will be responsible for operations, guest satisfaction, overall performance and associate training. She has worked for several hotels under the Hilton Hotels & Resorts and InterContinental Hotels Group brands and was director of sales for the Homewood Suites Birmingham-South/Inverness.

Sirata Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida, made three appointments: Chris Klocke as general manager, Terry Lund as director of food & beverage and Dennis Tassler as executive chef.

Forte Village Resort in Sardinia named Marco Lucrezi marketing director. He has held roles in marketing and business development including the cruise sector at MSC Cruises, telecommunications at TIM and at BNP Paribas BNL.

International Hospitality Enterprises appointed Andrea Moczo spa director for the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Most recently, she was spa director at the Yhi Spa at the Gran Melia Puerto Rico.

Elle Moser was named opening director of sales and marketing at the Residence Inn by Marriott Boulder Canyon Boulevard in Boulder, Colorado. The hotel is set to open in fall 2017.

Rosewood London named Remus Palimaru hotel manager. Most recently, he was hotel manager for Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico.

Dorchester Collection promoted Eugenio Pirri to chief people and culture officer. He joined the company as vice president, people and organizational development in 2011. Previously, he was regional human resources director of The Savoy and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Europe.

The Woodstock Inn & Resort in Vermont named Andrew Porter director of tennis at the Woodstock Athletic Club. Most recently, he was the assistant coach for the men’s tennis team at Dartmouth University.

The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski is welcoming the return of Anton Pozeg, appointed executive chef of the Schwarzreiter Tagesbar & Restaurant. Pozeg was part of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten kitchen team from 2010 to 2012 as executive sous chef. Most recently, he was executive chef at the Palais Hansen Kempinski in Vienna.

Concord Hospitality promoted Thom Stewart to vice president of talent acquisition and engagement.

Mexico’s Rancho Pescadero appointed Bob Toubman general manager. Previously, he held positions including senior vice president of the Loreto Bay Company in Baja California, and as general manager at several U.S. hotels.

Uncasville, Connecticut-based Mohegan Sun hired John Washko as vice president of exhibitions and conventions sales. He has held roles with Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas and The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.

Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa and Hotel Terra Jackson Hole in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, hired Matt White as director of sales. Most recently, he was director of sales at The Wort Hotel in Jackson, where he directed onsite group sales, catering and marketing efforts.

Caneel Bay Resort on St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, appointed Kyle Woodruff executive chef. He will oversee dining operations, menu creation and procurement for Turtle Bay Estate House, Caneel Beach Terrace, Caneel Beach Bar & Grill and Cannella. It’s his second stint at the resort.
