Luxury owner-operator Oetker Collection has taken over management of Jumby Bay Island, a 300-acre private island resort located two miles from Antigua, for an undisclosed amount.
Still owned by Jumby Bay Island Co., the resort is slated to re-open on October 9 for the 2017/18 season with Baden-Baden, Germany-based Oetker managing the island’s resort, as well as villa and estate home rentals.
With this addition, Oetker Collection expands its portfolio to 10 properties; Jumby Bay joins Eden Rock – St Barths as the brand’s second in the Caribbean.
