MCR sells in downtown St. Louis: The New York-based hotel owner-operator has sold the 195-room Hilton St. Louis Downtown at the Arch, located at 400 Olive Street in St. Louis, Missouri. The firm first purchased the hotel in December 2016. MCR generated a 44% IRR on the investment. The transaction closed September 6.
Radisson signs in Norway: A new Park Inn by Radisson will open at the Oslo Airport. Radisson Hospitality has signed the upper midscale, full service, Park Inn by Radisson Oslo Airport Hotel West in Norway. Due to open by the end of this year, the Park Inn by Radisson Oslo Airport Hotel West will feature 233 guestrooms. The hotel will be operated by Radisson Hospitality AB under an international license agreement.
IHG signs in Sydney: IHG has signed the Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets which is set to open in 2020 in partnership with Primefield Property in Sydney. The sixteen-story boutique hotel on Market Street, which will shortly commence construction, will be the first Hotel Indigo in Adelaide and the sixth signing for the brand in Australasia, following Hotel Indigo Brisbane Fortitude Valley, Melbourne Docklands, Sydney Central, Melbourne Little Collins Street and Auckland.
