Hotel Principe di Savoia’s newly announced fall hunting package “for lovers of shooting and haute-cuisine” gives guests the chance to shoot and prepare their own game (duck, partridge and pheasant) with the hotel’s executive chef, Fabrizio Cadei.
The hunting grounds are in the Abbiategrasso countryside, not far from Milan’s city limits. The 600-acre (243-ha) Le Aziende Agri-Turistico-Venatorie features a large pond and the Ticinio River, and the outing includes a nature tour and lunch at Antica Osteria del ponte.
On returning to Hotel Principe di Savoia, guests can relax and unwind before dining at Acanto on an autumnal dinner menu. The following day, Chef Cadei leads a master class on creating a selection of traditional Milanese dishes with the seasonal birds that guests shot the day before.
Personalized to each guest’s specifications, the hunting package is priced on arrival, but starts at E1590 for two nights in a premium deluxe double room.
