MSI Offers Hotel Management Solution For iPhone

MSI (Multi-Systems Inc.) has developed advanced mobile technology applications for the iPhone and iTouch.
The initial version allows hoteliers the ability to access real-time property data points including daily, weekly and monthly ADR, REVPAR and Occupancy stats. In addition, features that track guest room availability, guest status, and room status are also offered. Initially developed for both the iPhone and iTouch, the solution will be available for purchase starting next month.

MSI realizes the need to support the movement from a tethered hotel environment to a nimble mobile environment. The next generation hotel expects to access information differently. Imagine being a General Manager walking through the lobby and having a guest approach you, knowing you have an iPhone and can retrieve their reservation, or check availability giving you the opportunity to provide immediate service to your guest. There is power in having the housekeeping staff carry iTouch devices receiving immediate information such as VIP check- ins and special requests, expediting waiting lists or room change information.
