Atlantica Hotels Renews Pegasus Voice Services Contract

PRESS RELEASE -- Hotels, 1/26/2010 11:05:29 AM

Atlantica Hotels International has extended its five-year relationship with Pegasus Solutions through 2012 to continue benefiting from the company's private label voice services. Atlantica, which manages more than 70 hotels throughout Brazil, signed the renewal after realizing a consistent 8% average increase in net reservations conversion year-over-year with Pegasus.

As the exclusive Brazilian partner for Choice Hotels International, Carlson Hotels Worldwide and Starwood, Atlantica utilizes a Pegasus team of 20 voice agents and a reservations supervisor to capture bookings across its portfolio. Annie Morrissey, vice president of sales and marketing for Atlantica Hotels International, said the relationship with Pegasus has yielded tangible results for its properties.

"Our dedicated Pegasus voice services team serves as an extension of our own, working with us to highlight challenges, areas of opportunity, track system performance and monitor service levels," said Morrissey. "The Pegasus team has a comprehensive understanding of our business as well as five solid years of experience with Atlantica. During this time, they have helped us realize a regular increase in net reservations conversion, delivering bookings for the properties we manage across all categories."

Pegasus private label voice services offer hotels professionally trained and sales-focused support in 11 languages for 40 countries. With hub reservations centers in South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, Pegasus voice services allow hotels to capture valuable international bookings, according to Bobby Robinson, director of voice services for Pegasus Solutions.

"We welcome this multi-year contract renewal with Atlantica Hotels International, which also validates the value of this popular sales channel. Our voice services are designed to efficiently support hotels in generating international bookings, thus providing an additional lucrative revenue stream to the customers we provide services to," concluded Robinson.
