Raymond Bickson’s experience spans 30 years and four continents. In January 2003, he moved to India to become executive director and chief operating officer of Taj Luxury Hotels, overseeing operations of all luxury properties and playing a key role in the global expansion. He became managing director and CEO of The Indian Hotels Company Limited in July 2003.
Bickson most recently served 15 years as the vice president and general manager of The Mark in New York City. His career includes more than 10 years with Regent International Hotels in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Puerto Rico, Melbourne and Shanghai, as well as training at the Hotel Plaza Athénée Paris, Le Montreux Palace Switzerland and the Kahala Hilton Hawaii.
Bickson is a member of the World Travel & Tourism Council, International Business Leaders Forum and is an advisory board member of The Leading Hotels of The World, Cornell Hotel School Center for Hospitality Research and École Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.
