Hot Promotions - Langham Hotels International Celebrates 140th Anniversary

With a luxury hotel heritage dating back to the 19th century, the Langham brand celebrates its 140th anniversary this month. The Langham legend began as the original Langham Hotel was opened in London by the Prince of Wales on June 10, 1865. With its seven floors and 600 rooms, the Langham Hotel was one of London's largest buildings and was the first hotel in London to have hot and cold running water and hydraulic lifts.

Currently, Langham Hotels International operates Langham hotels in the gateway cities of London, Boston, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Auckland. An array of celebration programs have been launched for Langham's birthday at the individual properties, including guest cocktail parties, wine tastings, nostalgic afternoon tea sets, and food and beverage promotions. Also being offered are 140th Anniversary Packages: accommodation and breakfast bundles that present an opportunity for guests to experience Langham's luxurious hospitality at value prices.
