Hot Opening: Hilton London Canary Wharf

The $96.5 million, 283-guestroom Hilton London Canary Wharf opens July 4 as the first of three "new look" Hilton properties to open in the United Kingdom this year.

An $88,000 slate wall imported from China stretches across the lobby and dining areas, its rich colors evoking the spice from which the hotel's Cinnamon Bar & Restaurant takes its name.

The property also includes three executive floors, an executive lounge with scenic London views, eight meeting rooms, a banquet suite and a LivingWell Express health club.
