Hot Opening: Hotel Indigo Houston

The 140-room Hotel Indigo Houston, the first of three Hotel Indigos planned for Texas, opened in July, marking the brand’s first non-lodging commercial property conversion.

The lifestyle boutique hotel features vivid murals, area rugs, plush duvets and slip covers that will change periodically to keep the property fresh. Public spaces also will transform seasonally through changing artwork, flora, murals and directional signage.

A signature design element that will remain constant is the hotel’s oversized lobby chairs.

Other features of the property include a bistro-style restaurant along with meeting and function space.
