World Construction: Garden Inn Breaks Ground At Minneapolis Convention Center

Minneapolis—First Hospitality Group Inc. and Global One Commercial LLC are developing Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Minneapolis & Convention Center.

The 210-room hotel is located within walking distance to the outdoor shopping and dining at Nicollet Mall, Orchestra Hall, the Minneapolis Convention Center and the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. The 10-story hotel will feature a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor pool and spa, more than 3,000 sq. ft. (279 sq. m) of meeting space, a full-service restaurant and a complimentary 24-hour business center. All guestrooms include Garden Sleep System beds and linens, complimentary Wi-Fi, ergonomic Mirra chairs by Herman Miller and high-definition flat screen televisions.
