Irving, Texas—Fresh from the opening of its first property in Plano, Texas, NYLO Hotels LLC will bring a second hotel to the Lone Star State, this time to the city of Irving. The new loft lifestyle hotel will open early next year.
The five-story, 200-room hotel will be located in Las Colinas, a master-planned community 10 minutes from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Dallas. Las Colinas is a 12,000-acre (4,856-ha) community that is home to companies like ExxonMobil, Kimberly Clark and Nokia. NYLO Las Colinas will be located on more than 5 acres (2 ha) at the northwest corner of Royal Lane and Sierra Drive.
Atlanta-based NYLO combines the qualities of urban residential loft-style living with features of branded hotels. The properties feature spacious loft accommodations, state-of-the-art business centers, high-tech gyms, clothing boutiques and 24-hour restaurants and bars.
Showcasing the brand’s urban loft design, the 105,000-sq.-ft. (9,755-sq.-m) NYLO Las Colinas will feature a dramatic brick-and-glass exterior, floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby, exposed brick-and-polished-concrete walls and guest lofts with high ceilings exceeding 10 ft. (3 m). Each guest loft will have custom furnishings, including a bed topped with luxury linens, sofa, ottoman and large moveable desk with ergonomic chair. Lofts also will include complimentary high-speed and wireless Internet access, a large flat-screen TV and MP3 capabilities.
NYLO Las Colinas will have a three-meal restaurant and bar designed by Bill Johnson of the Atlanta-based Johnson Studio. The award-winning designer has created premier restaurants nationwide.
