MILAN, ITALY—More than 135,000 trade professionals visited Host 2007—4.7% more than attended the previous edition—including 100,000 Italians and 35,000 foreigners from 134 countries. Some 1,865 exhibitors took up a total surface of 110,000 sq. m (1.7 million sq. ft.)

“Final data tell us that we are on the right path to overcome the globalization challenge successfully,” says Adalberto Corsi, president of Fiera Milano ExpoCTS. “Like most of Italy’s trade fairs, Host is contributing to strengthen the image of our country—of Italy as a brand—all over the world. Three hundred fifty foreign exhibitors and 110,000 net sq. m of display surface are evidence that our trade fair system is ready to compete worldwide in a more innovative and aggressive way.”
