Andaz Liverpool Street, London, is the debut of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts’ new Andaz brand, a 5-star offering with a boutique, design-driven product. The property, located at 40 Liverpool St., is formerly the Great Eastern Hotel.

Andaz offers guest services with a view to developing stronger guest/staff relations, empowering guests to define their own hotel experience. Creating a more personalized one-to-one experience, an Andaz team member welcomes guests into a non-traditional, designed-focused living space that is more like a home than a hotel. There are no front desks at check-in, no concierge desks or receptionists. Instead, the dedicated team member recognizes and responds to guests’ personal tastes, requests and preferences.

The Living Room replaces the traditional lobby. At the property, bespoke monthly East End Contemporary Art tours are offered, and local personalities have submitted iPod playlists. A new art collection is developing along guest corridors, with works by local artists.
