Le Méridien Lav has opened its doors in the Mediterranean port of Split, Croatia. The resort, previously known as Hotel Lav and often called "the best address in Split," has undergone a US$150 million renovation and is the first Le Méridien in Croatia. International travelers will embrace its prime location on the sea in the largest city in Dalmatia, the main artery for those exploring Croatia's romantic coastline and picturesque islands in the Adriatic Sea.
Le Méridien Lav adds a high European service standard and a unique experience to Split's growing commercial landscape. The hotel offers 364 spacious guestrooms decorated with fabrics and colors inspired by the hotel's natural surroundings. The resort's 17 suites and its 394 sq.ft. (37 sq.m) presidential suite offer breathtaking views of Split and its neighboring islands. The hotel also boasts 9,500 sq.ft. (883 sq.m) of meeting space.
The fully integrated beachfront resort includes seven bars and dining outlets, including a fine-dining restaurant, a brassiere serving meals throughout the day, a casual pub, a Champagne lounge, a room to enjoy Le Méridien brand's approach to coffee culture and an outdoor grill. The three-story Roman-inspired Diocletian Spa and fitness center provides a venue for visitors to rediscover themselves. Other amenities include a tennis academy, indoor and outdoor pools and bars, a private yacht marina, a full range of water sports, a shopping arcade, a nightclub and a casino.
